Saturday, August 19th the Texas USA Wrestling had its August meeting at the Marriott in Austin to discuss issues, update rules, talk venue locations, and yes elect chairman.

Doug Koger the previous Freestyle and Greco Director had done an awesome job,  the Director position isnt a lay back and enjoy the ride job.  Their basically responsible for all Team Texas issues, including youth, middle school and High School kids, all travel arrangements, organizing the teams, ordering equipment, and so much more.
Steve Horton was this past season the Fargo Boys National Team Leader so he has experience on handling Team Texas, not mentioning all his wrestling accomplishments and NB Elite wrestling club.
Team Texas will be in good hands.
